Epcot's Food and Wine Festival

We decided to join Allen's family (Grandma Eva, Uncle Linn and Aunt Sandy) at Epcot for the festival this year on Sunday. We had lots of fun. Here are some pics from the day:

Ryan picked a flower and gave it to me. This would be my first flower he has ever picked for me.

After visiting Snow White (and getting smitten by her), he got a kiss. (of note, the lipstick is very hard to scrub off)

A quote from one of my favorite movies: "or perhaps you don't want to see the second largest ball of twine on the face of the earth, which is only four short hours away?" (name that quote)

Letters (aka Name Unveiling)

I just realized as I was about to blog about this, that maybe, just maybe, some of you didn't know what this little girl's name will be. Anyway, in the last couple of years, nursery letters have splattered themselves all over nurseries. I have never been partial to the hanging ones. Don't really know why, just haven't. Ryan's name sits on top of his closet moulding, as will hers. So here are the ones I did for her today (thank you, Joann's for the sale on the pre-painted ones!):

We will be calling her Erin Olivia: Erin, because we really like it and Olivia, for my Grandma. Right now, she is Little E to me.

Busy Saturday!

Saturday was a busy day for the Turner family. We went to a birthday party. Then we ran home, waited for the rain to go away for the afternoon and ran out to the Magic Kingdom. The crowds were light and the weather wasn't as stifling hot as normal. And the place was decked out for Fall and Halloween! LOVE it! All in all, a GREAT day. Here are some pics:

22 week doctor appointment

The baby is measuring perfectly. Dr. Jackson read the ultrasound results and said she looks perfect. And oddly enough, I still haven't gained any weight. Now I am just waiting for that 10 lb gain in one appointment.

It's a bird, no it's a plane, IT"S SUPERMAN!

Ryan's Halloween costume came in today. Kudos to me for finding a super awesome deal online through Amazon. Anyway, Ryan was very excited to see what "brown" brought us. So, I opened the box for him. As soon as he saw it, he wanted to wear it.

Check him out!

In response to the question, "Ryan, who are you?" "I'm Superman!"

See Kai Run

I love giveaways! Yet, I never win. However, I am a glutton for punishment and continue to try and try again. Go to this blog and enter. Isn't is Sara who loved these shoes? Am I right?

Belly Shot!

And I don't mean the drinking variety. I haven't really taken any pics of the belly. We are teaching Ryan to kiss his little sister (instead of head butting her). After lots of kisses, I picked up my camera to attempt to catch the moment. This is what I got:

(and yes, I am completely aware that my belly is whiter than the moon.)

Baby Bedding

I obsess. I always do. If it's something I need to buy, I scour reviews, pictures, etc. This is really bad now that we have our little girl coming. Don't get me wrong, I obsessed about bedding and the nursery with Ryan as well. So, it isn't just a girl thing. I am pretty sure Allen thinks I am nuts. I have had a couple of sets picked out for either gender. Last week though, as luck would have it, 2 sets were offered to us by dear friends. I loves both looks. Allen likes the whole free thing. We have decided to go with what is behind door #2. It's different than anything we would have bought. It will challenge me to decorate further past the baby stage, which is a good thing. It isn't theme-y. And I am so excited for the challenge! So do you like it? I LOVE it!!!!
