My Life In Music

What would be the soundtrack to my life? Well, let's find out! I am running with this from good ol' Tib and Kelly!
Here is how you play:
1. Open your music library (iTunes, Media Player, iPod, Winamp etc.)
2. Put it on shuffle.
3. Press play.
4. For every question/subject, type the song that’s playing.
5. When you go to the next question, press the next button.
6. Don’t lie and skip songs and pretend you’re cool. Use the first one that pops up.

1. Opening Credits
Mickey Mouse Club March (and no, I am not kidding. It was on there from Ryan's birthday montage last year.) Haha

2. Waking Up
Girls Just Wanna Have Fun by Cyndi Lauper
(interesting that this would come up...I am a morning person)

3. First Day of School
Heaven Is A Place On Earth by Debbie Gibson
(Ok, not exactly what I would call Heaven. Maybe elementary school. Who doesn't love to eat a little paste? But Junior High? Really? And High School? I always had butterflies in my stomach not warm fuzzies.)

4. Falling In Love
Take My Breath Away by Elliott Yamin
(Again, not lying here. That is what popped up.)

5. First Kiss Song
Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree by Alvin and the Chipmunks
(Wow, this is totally wrong. Let's see who was even my first kiss? David Thomas? Outside the school bus area at Jewett? Definitely not a Christmas. And completely awkward.)

6. Breaking Up
Let's Hear It For The Boys
(Really? I will admit I only broke up a handful of times with people out of the 20-something boyfriends on the list. Mostly because I was never one to hurt someones feelings, so I would just wait for hem to do it if it wasn't right. BUT I would hardly call that cheering a boy on for breaking up with me!)

7.Prom
Healing Rain by Michael W. Smith
(Ok, we have completely gone off track here. I don't know that it ever rained on a Prom I went to.)

8. Life
Everybody Wants To Rule The World by Tears for Fears
(Ok, so this is right. Who doesn't want to somehow rule their own little world?)

9. Mental Breakdown
I Can't Fight This Feeling Anymore by Air Supply
(The title of the song would have it. However, it's a love song, hardly a mental breakdown song. Although, I guess some relationships lead to that. hmmmmm)

10. Driving
Speed of Sound by Coldplay
(I have never really listened to the words. I like the song and do drive to it. I do drive faster than the speed limit.)

11.Flashback
You Raise Me Up by Selah
(Let's see what Flashback would this remind me of. Not because of the song because it wasn't even out, but in 1992 my Dad lost his battle with cancer. Without the grace of God or the wonderful friends He put into my life, I would not have been able to get through that. It was gut-wrenching and life altering, to say the least.)

12. Getting Back Together
Hey Baby from Dirty Dancing
(Ok, it's cute. What else is there to say? Maybe it would define someone who came back into my life after a break-up. Matt? I don't know. This song does deem a CandyLand factoid: I saw Dirty Dancing in the movie theater 7 times.)

13. Wedding
Can't Live a Day Without You by Avalon
(Just by the title, let's say a collective Awwwwwww. But really, the song is about God, not Allen. In some arenas he may think he is a God.)

14. Birth of a Child
Yeti Stomp by the Backyardigans
(Hilarious. Maybe I was doing the Yeti Stomp during my 23 hour labor. Actually, that would be impossible with an epidural.)

15. Final Battle
Keep Tryin' by The Doodlebops
(Aw, frick, my greatest nightmare made it into my soundtrack. Yes, they are on my iPod but it's Ryan's song)

16. Death Scene
Te Chicken Dance on Jock Jams
(OMGosh, I hope that isn't true. The song, however, does make me want to kill myself. Too bad Ryan digs it.)

17. Funeral Song
Lifesong by Casting Crowns
(I couldn't have played that any better. Great song to have at my funeral!)

18. End Credits
Hey Ya by Outkast
(Well, at least it has a great beat for people to jam to.)

Alright, readers, it's your turn and NO cheating!
