See, I told you I was Disconneted

And I wasn't kidding. I am in a funk. I don't know if it is the Summer doldrums or what but I want out. Here is what is happening over here in my world:

Ryan is turning 3 next week! 3?! Is that even possible? I mean, I know it is but wow, time is flying by! Anyway, I will post pics from his birthday party soon, maybe today. It was on Saturday and I had to relieve some space on the laptop to put more pics on. Guess I take way too many. And then we will be partying at Grandma's this Sunday with Allen's family. That should be fun.

The baby is still growing! Morning sickness is going away although I still get some bad days amidst all the good ones. BUT I am so tired. I don't remember this with Ryan at all. I think God blocks out all the bad stuff so we will do it all over again. We went for an OB appt. on Friday just to hear the heart beat. The placenta is anterior so that made it difficult for the dr. to hear. So, we got another ultrasound. No pics from it. Don't know why I didn't ask for one. I guess I was just happy to see the baby!

I am so sad that we aren't leaving on vacation this Saturday. The gas prices are hitting us (and I am sure all of you, too) very hard. So driving up was becoming costly, along with pet care and random vacation expenses. So we have postponed the Virginia trip for Halloween. I am actually more excited about that. It is so stinkin' hot here in October still and that makes costume-planning frustrating. So, we will "chill" out up in Virginia.
