Almost 6 weeks!

Craziness, such craziness! It is almost 6 weeks until the day we meet Erin Olivia for the first time. It feels just like yesterday that I was staring at a pregnancy test that had a microscopic line on it! Today was another OB appt and everything is measuring perfectly. She isn't measuring big YET. And I am super happy about that. And my big bonus was finding out I have only gained 8 lbs total (weighing in with jeans today vs. my normal shorts, haha). I have to say that makes this mommy very happy. The doctor let Ryan be her helper when we listened for the heartbeat. He even attempted to try on his own afterwards. Maybe we have a budding OB here.
So, you may ask, are we ready for the baby yet? No! BUT we are getting there. We painted a whole bunch yesterday and then decided at 11:00 pm that we didn't care for the brown we chose for the bottom. So, I trucked back up to Home Depot this morning to get a can of "Fudge" paint. And now I'd say it will look perfect once all the tape is pulled off. The carpet goes in on Friday, I think. And then the room can be loaded back up with furniture. I am excited to get all the clothes and diapers in there (and out of my living room).
