He has indeed. Lest we forget why Easter even exists. As a Christian, it is a day of celebration. Jesus died for my sins and rose from a sealed tomb. What an tremendous price He paid!
With that being said, yes, we are doing the Easter Bunny, kind of like we do Santa. Obviously, when Ryan is old enough to comprehend that those two are NOT our God, we will have that discussion. But for now, it's all in fun.
Ryan woke up and the Easter Bunny had been here:
He was excited...(hahahaha)
He looked at what the Easter Bunny brought him this year.
Then we begged him to search for the eggs. He resisted.
And of course, as soon as I left and started cooking, he obliged. Thank goodness Allen was there to snap some pics.

And Sharky helped.
"Here's an egg, Mom!"
We got dressed and went to church. Sorry no pics from that. But it was a great service.
Then, on to the Gillis home for a big church family lunch.
Which included a bounce house...

And a pool...

And an Easter Bunny...

And a child who would rather swim than pick up eggs. Marvel stood in for Ryan.
And a sleeping princess...
And awesome friends to spend the day with...

And what tops off the day more than a cupcake and a bike ride?
