Praise the Lord

For years, my church has been meeting in the cafeteria at an elementarty school. It has had it's challenges. Lots of Sundays of putting up chairs, curtains, tables, band equipment and then breaking them down. To some it might seems hardly worth it for the couple of hours. But to others, we see the big picture. We have grown! Was it 3 years ago that we were meeting at the Gillis home? Just 3 families and less children? Now we have lots of little children (Ryan being one of them) and lots of new families that are now "our" families. Praise God for that! And now, once more, a facility has opened up for us to use. We will actually have a sanctuary, not a cafeteria. We will no longer have to keep the toddlers away from the drums and musical props in the music room or the preschoolers from playing with the snack machines in the teacher's lounge. Praise God! I am sure this new move will come with it's challenges but it's another growth step. So, please keep praying for our church. Pray that this move will reach out to more people around us. Pray that a Starbucks moves into our path on the way to church. haha, no really... And if you are moved by this and wonder, "Hey, what can "I" do to help this move less costly (as we all know that they can be)?" Well, with a new church and the lack of an elementary setting, we are now short lots of little chairs ofr our prschoolers and toddlers. So, if you have a spare $25 sitting around, we sure could use those chairs. We have lots of little tushies that need to sit in them. Not that my child sits for that long, bot other people's kids do. haha So if you are interested, let me know! Otherwise just pray that the move goes well and with the least kinks possible.
